He consistently broke major stories and was in frequent contact with sources within the wrestling industry. He conducted Torch interviews with top names in the industry including ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky, Dusty Rhodes, Lance Storm, Dallas Page, Konnan, Mike Awesome, Jimmy Hart, Lenny Lane, Mortimer Plumtree, Jim Kettner, Les Thatcher, Bill Behrens, and Vic Grimes, among others.Powell works full-time out of his home office near St. Paul, Minn.
